Dining in Barcelona (South Norwalk, CT)

Yesterday was my day off but, in a way, it wasn't. George and I decided to drive up to Connecticut and stay in a hotel just to get away from NYC and all the distractions there in order to get some planning and other work done. So we packed our 3 laptops, the scanner, mountains of paper, binders and folders and locked ourselves in for the bulk of the day. Last night we did manage to get out and meet up with a friend for dinner. We ate at Barcelona in South Norwalk. Barcelona is a stylish tapas restaurant and while normally I dislike doing the tapas thing (big prices, tiny portions), last night I didn't mind it. I enjoyed what I ate, I enjoyed being in South Norwalk, I enjoyed the vibe of the restaurant and the surrounding area, and I enjoyed the company.
Whilst there, we also did a little 'research' which means we checked out the place for ideas to incorporate into Bogota. That's something we do every time we go out whether it's the decor, the food or the service. In reference to the server, I found him quite good. I normally NEVER order dessert and coffee when I go out to dinner but last night I did which I owe more to his service and style (he was very friendly and helpful). Whenever I go out and encounter great service, two things come up for me:
1. I would love our servers to be this good and I hope they are.
2. I'd love to get this person to work for us.
